Ally Baird is an artist from St. John’s, Newfoundland. Baird received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from NSCAD University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

As a processed based artist, she primarily works in acrylics with the addition of texture mediums. Influenced by images of her home province, Baird’s work is focused on the abstract landscape. Using rough textures and a bold palette, she creates dramatic paintings with sculptural elements.

In addition to her work in fine art, Baird runs a regulated art, music, and play based family childcare centre in St. John’s.
