Ally Baird is an artist based in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from NSCAD University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Initially focused on large-scale sculptural works, her practice has expanded to include abstract acrylic paintings that incorporate texture and mixed media. Baird’s recent work integrates found objects and explores themes of neurodiversity, particularly the experiences of women and children within professional and medical contexts. Her art reflects a commitment to both material experimentation and socially engaged discourse.
